Who is at High Risk from CoVID 19?
• While most of us who contract it will not suffer serious illness, it appears to have approximately a 10-fold higher rate of serious complications when compared to the flu.
The high risk category includes: pregnant women, those over 70 years of age, those who are immunosuppressed, or who have chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, lung disease. People who smoke may also be at higher risk of serious complications.
• Those who live or work with people at heightened risk should also consider not attending meeting in person at this time.
