Peace and Social Concerns meeting, 7/25/2016

Present: Diane C, Jane J, Roger C, Daniel G, George M

Dan agreed to clerk the meeting.

Beth has offered to handle letter writing in August. Jane told of a successful letter writing in July.

We will wait to see if there is enough of an agenda to warrant our committee meeting on 8/22.

Diane will send out a request for people to help with the concert series and other matters.

The Annual Report for August 2015-August 2016 was read, amended, and approved.

Future agenda items? (1) Rename of this committee (Belief in Action was mentioned by George), (2) something about conscientious objectors, e.g. info for parents of draft-age children, getting rid of draft registration)

We closed as we had started, with a period of silence.
